The reason it can be this simple is how the tool works. ConvertFin parses your statement locally, in your browser, using pdf.js, so the file never leaves your device and is never uploaded to a server. There is no cloud processing bill for us to pass on to you, which is why the Free tier is genuinely usable rather than a teaser. Every statement is parsed into a consistent Date, Description, Amount, and Balance layout, so the output is ready to sort, filter, and reconcile the moment it opens. If you only convert the occasional statement, a monthly reconciliation, a mortgage or visa application, a year-end tax cleanup, Free is built for exactly that.
What Pro gives you
Pro removes the 5-a-day cap: convert as many statements as you need, with no daily limit. It is the same converter and the same on-device privacy model as Free — nothing about how your files are handled changes, you simply are not stopped at five.
It is $12 a month, or $120 a year — roughly two months free on the annual plan. It is a normal recurring subscription: you create an account, upgrade, and can cancel any time, which drops you back to the Free plan and its 5-per-day limit without ever losing access to the tool.
How ConvertFin pricing compares
Many bank-statement converters charge per page or per statement, or lock the whole tool behind a subscription with a hard trial limit, so a single busy month can turn into a real bill. Others process your PDF on their servers, which means your financial data is uploaded and stored by a third party.

Billing, currency, and cancellation
Pro payments are processed by Stripe, over an encrypted checkout on Stripe's own secure page — ConvertFin never sees your card number. Prices are in US dollars. It is a recurring subscription, monthly or yearly, that you can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancelling returns you to the Free plan and its 5-per-day limit, and your access to the tool itself never disappears.
